Nomination For Monticello High School Athletic Hall of Fame
The Monticello High School Athletic Hall of Fame committee meets over the summer to select new members to the Hall of Fame.
The Athletic Hall of Fame award is sponsored by the Monticello Athletic Boosters. The award will be presented at the annual Homecoming football game. A plaque with the person’s name, year of graduation, and achievements will be placed in the school hallway.
Selection will be made by a committee made up of Athletic Coaches, Booster Club Members, Community Members and the Athletic Director. To be eligible the candidate must have been out of high school for 10 years. The Hall of Fame rules adopted by the school board allowed up to 15 to be selected during the first year, but allows between 2-5 members each year.
