Sage Parents, Faculty and Staff- Today, Governor JB Pritzker extended the stay at home order and school building closure through April 30 for the State of Illinois. We expect further extension of the order to be considered in late April, possibly through the end of the school year and into the summer. We will continue with our Remote Learning Plans while our school buildings are closed. All lessons should be posted at www.sages.us by NOON tomorrow.  Our school buildings may be closed but our learning plans will continue. Our teachers and administrators are working hard and collaborating with each other daily to make the last quarter of the school year a positive one. This is not how any of us were hoping to finish to the 2019-20 school year. As difficult as this is for all of us we are going to become very good at doing school and life differently for awhile. We are especially reminded of our high school seniors that are missing out on the exciting end to their high school experiences. We are working on alternative plans for our graduation ceremony and our other end of year school events. We also want to recognize our faculty and staff members that are retiring this year. In the big picture we must abide by the stay at home and social distancing mandates in order to be safe and decrease the number of peak COVID-19 cases in Illinois so we can get back to a sense of normalcy as soon as possible.

We will continue to have food distributions on Mondays – please continue to reply to our food surveys so that we have an adequate number of meals prepared each week. We have a Chromebook distribution checkout set-up for Friday, April 3 and Tuesday, April 7. Please respond to this link by 10PM on Wednesday, April 1 if your household would like to check out a device https://forms.gle/buvkaWVQcvRWxUca9.

We are all learning as we go and we will get better each week. Please keep the safety of our medical personnel and first responders in your thoughts during these times - we need for them to be there for us going forward. Please let me know if there is anything else that we can do for you or your students at this time.

It’s a Great Day to be a Sage!
