5th grade band and chorus concert! The 5th grade band and choir students have been working very hard and we are very excited to have our first concert on Wednesday, December 12th! A reminder that for the evening concerts we dress up for this event in concert black. This can be black pants, and a black shirt or black dress and black shoes. We will use this same uniform at both concerts this year and again in middle school as well. If you do not have concert black dress clothes, they usually have some at Willow tree, Wal-Mart, Kohl's, Target, etc. Call time for students in the concert will be 6:30 p.m., and the concert will begin at 7:00 p.m. If any of the percussion students can come closer to 6:15 p.m. to help set up the percussion equipment, that would be great! In-School Concert We will also have an in school concert for Washington School on Wednesday, 12/12 at 2:30 p.m. As this is not a normal band day, please help your son/daughter remember their instrument! For the in school concert, students can wear their band OR choir shirt, or if they did not get a shirt, any purple shirt will do!

Due to wet, muddy, and snowy conditions behind the visitors bleachers as well as the large crowds expected on Saturday, fans and students should NOT bring footballs or other "play" items into the facility. Fans and students who bring footballs or other "play" items will be directed to return the items to their vehicles. Thank you for your attention and cooperation in this matter.

The next All Pro Dad's meeting is tomorrow, Tuesday, September 25, at 7:30 AM in the Washington School conference room. It is important to model and teach our children to have a positive attitude. Being positive affects our overall health, how we get along with others, and can determine our success at home, school, and work. Having a positive attitude could lead to a longer life. I hope to see you tomorrow at All Pro Dads.
