Washington Students Awarded Blue Ribbons

Print PDF

Brushes & PaintCongratulations to Ms. Mabbs and the following students for winning blue ribbons at the Gallery 510 Young Artists Showcase.

The Young Artists Showcase is an exhibit and competition for students in Grades 5-8, from schools in the area.  Judges looked for technical competence and craftsmanship in the medium chosen, while looking for personal style and expression of ideas, thoughts, or concepts.

Approximately 100 pieces of artwork were chosen out of 400 pieces to be exhibited.  Washington School was the only school that earned all blue ribbons!

Congratulations to Rachel Koon, Lana Derossett, Will Soice, Isaiah Norfleet, Alissa Stranberg, Hailey Moore, Evan Bridges, and Payton Perry!  We are so proud of you!
